B.C.’s Zachari Smith travels east to make his Carleton debut on Sunday, March 11th. He’ll be joined by Nova Scotia’s Holli Durost. Show time is 7:30 PM, admission is $10 at the door.

Zachari Smith is an innovative songwriter, musician, and producer based in Montreal. He has toured Canada and Western Europe with his father in their folk duo ‘Andrew and Zachari Smith’ and with the former indie rock collective, The Geese. After a five year solo hiatus, Zachari is returning to the stage on his own, paying homage to generations of folk family sensibility while cutting his own environmentally inspired indie edge.

Zachari was chosen one of the top 5 Emerging Artists in the BC interior by Music BC. The single “Feel It” was released in December 2014 followed by the single “Speed of My Heart” in April 2015. Zachari is currently in the studio recording his second full length solo album.
