Ottawa party band extraordinaire, The PepTides, bring their hugely entertaining act to The Carleton for the first time on Monday, August 6th AND Tuesday, August 7th. Show time each night is 8 PM and they want to make an impression, so admission is only $10 at the door. If you’re looking for some early week fun, you won’t do any better than this!

Hailing from Ottawa, The PepTides is an indie pop band inspired by the sound of funk, jazz and disco. The group is noted for its extravagant live performances, featuring sumptuous five-part harmonies, theatrical choreography and colourful visuals. The band’s songs juxtapose upbeat music with lyrics that comment on far-reaching themes like love, hate, revenge, sex, religion, was – and getting ready for dates.

They are an eclectic community of musicians with a rainbow of identities: English and French, black and white and in-between. Ukrainian, Mexican, Guyanese, Cree, Acadian, Armenian and Scottish.
