Celticly-inclined party band The Kitchen Criminals are on tap to provide some dance-worthy fun at The Carleton on Saturday, June 30th. Live music gets underway at 10 PM and admission is only $5 at the door.
The Kitchen Criminals (TKC) is a four-piece ensemble from Pictou County. Their East Coast, Celtic-Rock sound was largely influenced by Atlantic Canadian bands MacKeel, Great Big Sea, Rawlins Cross, Dropkick Murphys and Fleur Mainville.
TKC formed in 2016 due to a shared musical connection, enthusiasm and a love for the typical East Coast kitchen party atmosphere. Their music ranges from original songs, to fiddle reels and Celtic classics. This group’s musical appeal is one that extends into many stylistic tastes.
Outfitted with an acoustic guitar, fiddle, bodhrán drum, tin whistle, mandolin, and bass guitar, TKC set the stage with their Celtic instrumentation and rock approach to the music industry.
