If there’s one artist on this planet that personifies what The Carleton, at its core, is all about, it’s Halifax native and San Diego – now Nashville – resident STEVE POLTZ! The man, the myth, the legend returns to our stage for two shows on Wednesday, August 3rd. The early show (this one) is at 6:30 PM, doors open after 5pm and it’s $25 to experience the best live solo show you’re likely to ever see in your life (even if you’ve already seen him)!

Please note, this show was originally scheduled for Thursday, August 4th but a conflict on Steve’s schedule necessitated moving it to Wednesday…

…And if you’ve never seen him, and you live in Halifax and somehow missed the first 30+ times he’s played here before, it’s about time you got hip. We’ve presented well over a couple of thousand artists at The Carleton over our 8 years of existence and we can say, without fear of contradiction, that Poltz is consistently the most mind-blowing of them all (and that’s no dis on all the others, believe us).
