It’s been a while but Don and Dave Carroll – the Sons Of Maxwell – reunite for a rare show at The Carleton on Thursday, February 1st. The dynamic, crowd-pleasing duo will hit the stage at a civilized 7:30 PM and tickets – while they last – are $35 + HST.
Brothers Don and Dave Carroll have enjoyed a rich music career based in Atlantic Canada. Their band, Sons of Maxwell was named after their father Max in the early 90s, and they have since toured the world from small pubs to prestigious theatres and festivals with their infectious pop-folk sound. They are multi ECMA award winners and past recipients of the Nova Scotia Group of The Year.
With 13 recordings to their credit and thousands of performances, Don and Dave’s quick wit, brotherly harmonies and complimentary blend of original, traditional and pop favourites has made Sons of Maxwell a welcomed addition to listening ears, from kitchen ceilidhs to concert halls.
