Leona Burkey brings her beloved annual benefit in support of Autism Nova Scotia to The Carleton on Sunday, June 15th at 7 PM. The 10th Anniversary Shine Blue Show will feature an in-house screening of the short doc “Wave Theory” by Brandon Boyd, (nominated for Best Documentary at the 2025 Nova Scotia Screen Awards) an extraordinary project about a song, a boy and a challenging journey of wonder, the power of music and silver linings. A songwriters’ dream…when a simple song keeps rolling along like a wave, sparking connection, doing a bit of good and touching unexpected shores.
The evening continues with special performances by an all-star lineup of some of our shiniest over the years including Jon Cornwall, Mahogany Hollow (David Bradshaw & Tyler Cox), Factory Girls (Stef Benac & Bailey MacKinnon) Jennifer King + special guests. Join us to celebrate 10 years of Shine Blue Shows at the Carleton in support of acceptance, inclusion and an outstanding organization. Tickets are only $20 + HST. All proceeds to Autism Nova Scotia.
