Coming from a long line of authentic Newfoundland good-time bands that meld traditional songs with heart-felt originals and includes the likes of Great Big Sea, The Irish Descendants, etc. Shanneyganock hasn’t been off The Rock lately but they’ll be at The Carleton on Thursday, July 14th. We understand the party will begin sometime after 9 PM and admission is $20 cash at the door.

Here’s what they’d like you to know about them: Shanneyganock has been singing and playing songs of their native land for 21 years and have no plans on slowing down. After 14 recordings and countless shows across Canada and the U.S., the boys are ready to go again! Lead by the powerful vocals of Chris Andrews, the vocals and accordion playing of Mark Hiscock, Bob Pike’s bass and Ian Chipman’s drums, these guys never disappoint.
