Second Line Parade celebrate the release of their first LP, There’s a Presence Here… with a show at The Carleton on Friday, October 18th. Stand Back and The Blackrats will be rounding out the night and ringing in the Halloween season! Come get spooky! Live music starts at 10 PM and it’s only $7 at the door to get in on the action.
Second Line Parade is Stef Nicholson (Vocals and Guitar), Spencer Clerk (Drums) and Hunter Stanway (Bass). Together, they have created a powerful Gothabilly Rockablues sound…yes, Gothabilly Rockablues… because it can’t be explained any other way.
Heavily influenced by old school country, rockabilly, soul, blues and jazz artists of the Deep South, Second Line Parade follows in the footsteps of their southern predecessors. They conjure up a vintage sound that channels the ghosts and hobos you might find along the banks of the Mississippi.
