Ottawa’s Riley Burns brings his South Mountain Boys band with him, along with opener Julia Cunningham, for a performance at The Carleton on Sunday June 22nd. Show time is 7 PM and tickets are $20 + HST.
Canadian born singer/songwriter Riley Burns has his take on how the world works, not necessarily accurate but unique nonetheless. He writes from a place of experience and feeling, using that as a way to channel ideas, thoughts and emotions into songs that will catch you and have you thinking about it the rest of the day.
Riley takes his show on the road and is joined his all-star band ‘The South Mountain Boys’: Utility infielder and producer Collin Carnegie plays where he is needed; keys, bass, guitar, drums he’s got it. The Ottawa Valley’s own Robert Patterson holds it down on drums. Shaun Byck plays Bass and often outsmarts the entire band. Chris Mcdonald, a true numbers guy plays electric guitar that will make you feel things you’ve never felt before.
