Here’s some awesomeness on the bang-for-your-buck front! Locals The Regal Beagle Band and Lindsay Misiner & The 7th Mystic, along with Toronto band Lost Cousins, gang up for a rock show at The Carleton on Thursday, February 18th. Show time is 9 PM and it’s a paltry $8 at the door to get in.

A self-described, “rock ‘n’ roll band with a fiddle,” The Regal Beagle Band is a hard-working outfit that has learned it takes more than endless writing, relentless performing and meticulous studio work to make a name for themselves – it also takes some good old fashioned elbow grease, sweat and let the good times roll!

Lindsay Misiner & The 7th Mystic is an 8 piece, Halifax-based, Psychedelic Soul band featuring singer/songwriter Lindsay Misiner’s powerhouse vocals. Her band features an eclectic group of talented musicians, hand-picked for their great devotion to a solid, mind gripping, sound and together their music will move up your spine and open your mind – as the name suggests! Feel it!

Toronto’s Lost Cousins‘ infectious indie-rock sound has gained them a following throughout Southern and Eastern Ontario. Recently the band entered the national CBC Searchlight competition – one of 6,600 entrants – and finished in the Top 10 in the nation. They are making their first foray into Atlantic Canada, you’ll like them. Trust us…
