After wowing a sold out HUFF audience with Hillsburn on the festival’s opening night, Australia‘s Oh Pep! will be back for a 7:30 PM show at The Carleton with another HUFF alumnus – Tyler Messick – on Sunday, September 13th! We’re going to make it easy to say “yes” to this show by keeping admission to $7 at the door. They’re good, you should go.

Melbourne, Australia contemporary folk duo Oh Pep! plays The Carleton on September 13th as part of a three month North American tour which began last week with a performance at the Halifax Urban Folk Festival.

The Race, the first single from the duo’s current release is currently ranked #11 on CBC Radio 2’s playlist and has been featured on Triple J, Song of the Day- The Line of the Best Fit, The Bluegrass Situation and Exclaim!

They have released two EPs to date and gained rapid momentum, touring Australia, the USA and Europe at events like The Woodford Folk Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival,  the National Folk Festival in Canberra and Folk Alliance International, Kansas City.

Tyler Messick joins the bill after also playing a killer set at HUFF (opening for Steve Poltz). Tyler’s back in town for an indefinite period of time so you should take a shot at catching his very good act before he disappears again!
