Online sales have ended, but tickets still available at the DOOR!
The Carleton is delighted to welcome Madeline to the stage on Sunday, April 7th as she celebrates the release of her new EP memoir. She will be joined by special guest Sylvie Aulenback. Show time is 7:00 pm. Tickets are $18.00 + HST.
She may have deep Atlantic Canadian roots, but Madeline is anything but traditional.
When her self-titled debut EP Madeline was released in 2020 she was 15 and had already been entertaining audiences for a decade. The pandemic kept that music from ever reaching the stage. Madeline’s next EP memoir will be released April 8th, 2024 and you have the opportunity to celebrate it with her the night before release on April 7th!
“In the beginning songwriting was a way to process difficult things going on in my life” said Madeline. “Now songwriting is more about a search for connection, sharing my music with others and seeing the recognition of the feelings I was feeling, and the facial expressions that say ‘yeah, I get it’.”
Inspired by pop/rock/punk artists like Paramore, Avril Lavigne, and Olivia Rodrigo, Madeline aims to create music that listeners will connect to a moment in time, and while they may have felt alone in that moment, they now feel seen and understood.
