New Brunswick born, Halifax-based Lisa Richard returns to The Carleton after some career-building trips to Nashville – along with able opening support from friend Joe H. Henry – for a  performance on Thursday, October 27th. Show time is 7:30 PM and tickets are $26 + HST.

Hailing from New Brunswick, now living in Halifax, Lisa Richard is a talented country singer-songwriter who captivates listeners with her powerful vocal range and true passion for music. She’s been called ‘a soulful Anne Murray.’ Lisa is a 2015 CBC Searchlight Top 10 Regional Contest Winner and a multiple Josie Music Award Nominee from 2017 to 2021. She was selected for the Songbird Supper Series Showcase at the 2019 East Coast Music Awards. She was also nominated for multiple International Singer Songwriters Association Awards in 2019 (Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Female Rising Star, Female Singer of the Year and Female Songwriter of the Year). Lisa was nominated for Country Artist of the Year at the 2018 Nova Scotia Music Awards and her Promises Kept album is up for Music Nova Scotia’s 2022 Country Recording of the Year!  Come hear what all the fuss is about!
