Cape Breton’s Jon Hines Band, along with opener Clifton Pettipas, take The Carleton stage on Friday, September 11th. Show time is 8 PM and admission is $10 at the door.
Living a simple life in the country side of Cape Breton Nova Scotia. Jon Hines is a singer-songwriter, blues and jazz guitar musician writing songs about love, loss, travel, nature and life. Having the opportunity to showcase his talent and songwriting abilities for international touring acts, Jon always manages to return to his home Cape Breton. “My life, my home, my love.” Jon has toured across Canada twice after the release of his first full length album, “Wild Things Roam”. Touring is part of the journey, and having the great opportunity to see this great country is a privilege. Shortly after he released his album, Jon released a new single titled, “Everybody Knows Umbrellas Cost More in The Rain” where he was asked to perform on CTV morning show.
