The Carleton is hosting a very special event on Friday, May 24th to celebrate the release of a brand new beer from Garrison Brewing Co of Halifax featuring Houblon Duke25 Hops from Phyl La Ferriere’s family farm in St-Edouard, Quebec. Praised by over 100 craft brewers, Houblon Duke25 Hops Inc. has been growing and distributing premium hops since 2013. They now cultivate 32,000 hops plants on a 32 acres farm & have access to hundreds of varieties grown around the world. 🌱 🍻 They could have no better collaborator than Garrison, the pioneer of innovative Nova Scotia craft brewing since 1997.
Be the first to sample this new brew while rocking out to classic outlaw country tunes by The Desperado Band – Thomas Matheson (guitar/vocals), William Matheson (guitar/vocals), Jeff Gay (B-bender electric/slide/keys/vocals), Mike Nahirnak (pedal steel/electric guitar/vocals) Andy Patil (bass/vocals) and Matt Duncanson (drums/vocals).
Show time is 8:00 PM and tickets while they last, are $20 + HST and includes a pint of the new brew!
