Taking inspiration from indie-folk artists, 23-year-old singer-songwriter Fiona Clancey has a charm you find only in the heart of the Maritimes. She completed a Bachelor of Music in Voice at Mount Allison University in 2022, followed by a Masters in Journalism at the University of King’s College in 2024. Brought up in a musical household, Fiona has been singing her entire life. Some of her earliest memories include dancing to John Prine at her cottage, singing in various choirs, and taking the stage in community theatre productions. Without a doubt, music has shaped her into the person she is today. Fiona’s introspective songwriting brings listeners into her world, allowing them to feel at home.

Eliza Rhinelander is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Songs from her debut EP, Good Old Days, have twice won her ‘Best Lyrics’ in Write the World’s Songwriting Competition, and she was a 2023 nominee for Best Songwriter in The Coast’s Best of Halifax Readers’ Choice Awards. A storyteller at heart, her evocative lyricism has led her to perform at Halifax Urban Folk Festival, the Seahorse Tavern, and headline a sold-out show at The Carleton with her producer and frequent collaborator Silas Bonnell. Her upcoming album The Precipice is a coming-of-age story crossing genres of folk, indie, pop and rock, and will be released in November 2024.
