Our good friend (who just happens to be one of the most accomplished guitarists on planet Earth) – Don Ross – returns to The Carleton for another jaw-dropping show on Sunday, November 29th. Show time is 8 PM and tickets are a paltry $22.50 advanced or $25 cash at the door. Former student, friend and ex-Winebible lead guitarist Jeff Jodrey will open the show with a short set.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, our bud Don is generally acknowledged as one of the best fingerstyle guitarists alive. In fact, he’s the only person to ever win the US National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship twice. The ONLY one. His chops are obviously not to be argued with but what you might not know is that he’s a very engaging, and funny, guy and his shows are more that just a series of hand-blurring histrionics – you’ll leave with a big grin on your face and joy in your crusty heart!
