Producer/guitarist/singer-songwriter (what doesn’t this guy do!?!) Chris Kirby – with the help of a whack of heavy friends – drops into The Carleton to celebrate the release of his new, What Goes Around album with a show on Thursday, July 4th. Show time is 9 PM. After 7 years behind the scenes as a producer, songwriter and sideman, Chris Kirby returns with What Goes Around – a new collection of funky soul music. To celebrate, Kirby will perform a special exclusive release show at the Carleton on July 4, where advance copies of the album will be available. The show will open with a performance from Lockdown Trio (Kirby, Kim Dunn and Geoff Arsenault), followed by a top-to-bottom band performance of the songs of What Goes Around. There will also be guest appearances from the likes of Matt Andersen, Charlie A’Court, Ian Janes, Ian Sherwood, and more.
