Rescheduled from October 20th last year, the dynamic duo of Christine Campbell and Blake Johnston return to The Carleton with a full band to play some acoustic and electric Blues-Rock & Roots music on Friday, January 19th. Show time is 8 PM and tickets – while they last (they’ve sold out all their previous appearances) – are $30 + HST.

Campbell & Johnston play vintage Blues-Rock and Roots music with a modern twist, fronted by two powerhouse guitarists and vocalists. They’ve been making waves, opening up for some big names, like Burton Cummings, Steve Earle and Bob Seger. Their latest release won Best Blues Album at the ECMAs in 2022, earned a Maple blues nomination, and Campbell just won the Music PEI 2023 Rooted to the Island Award. You may also hear their music in various popular Canadian shows such as Hudson & Rex & Sullivan’s Crossing.
