Transplanted Torontonian Caleb Elias and his band make their debut at The Carleton – along with openers VHS – on Friday, May 15th. Show time is 10 PM and admission is $10 at the door.
Caleb Elias Gilman is an accomplished musician from Toronto, ON. Firmly established in Canada as a freelance guitarist/producer, he has worked with numerous acts and artists (Juno winners Jarvis Church, Ray Robinson, and “Touch” of In Essence, MTV Contest winner Shaun Boothe + more). He has traveled the world, playing numerous shows and performing in various long-term residencies across the Middle East and Asia.
VHS is a three-piece alt-folk band from Halifax, Nova Scotia. They combine intricate harmonies with raw beat-boxing to form a sound that is uniquely VHS.
