Ontario-based, up-and-coming country star Shae Dupuy, along with local support from Samantha Power (with Brandon Davis) and Brooklyn Blackmore, team up for a show at The Carleton on Thursday, April 12th. Show time is 9 PM and tickets are only $10.
With her newest single Liar available now on country radio, 2017 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards Nominee, Shae Dupuy continues to illustrate just how dedicated she is to her craft. On the heels of her second EP, Brave, Shae won the 2017 Canadian Songwriters Competition in the Country Category. Shae continues to showcase her abilities as a songwriter and a musician, being recognized by the Canadian Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) with nominations in 2016 and 2017. Shae shares writing credits with the top namesakes in country music, Jason Duke, Clayton Bellamy, Patricia Conroy, and Jessica Mitchell, just to name a few. Continuing her evolution, Shae is showing the country music industry just what she is made of, pure talent and determination.

Brooklyn Blackmore was born and raised in Three Fathom Harbour, N.S. and her love of music started at the age of 4 with her fiddle. Keyboard was added at age 7 and she just recently began singing. People have come to know her through the years through her local performances and she continues to entertain at various venues. In August of 2016, Brooklyn competed and won the Global Country Star Search for vocals, which sent her to Nashville in March of 2017 to compete internationally in NACMAI. From that competition she came home with 17-20 Female Vocalist of the Year and 17-20 Female Entertainer of the Year.
