We are sorry to say that tonight’s show cannot go on as scheduled because Joshua has come down with that nasty bug that’s going around and it has rendered him unable to sing in a show-worthy fashion. He is upset by any inconvenience this will cause and promises to get back to the east coast at some point in 2018.
West Coast-based singer/songwriter Joshua Hyslop finally makes his way to Halifax for his debut show at The Carleton on Sunday, November 19th. Show time is 7:30 PM and admission is only $10 at the door. We highly recommend this show, Joshua is well worth your attention and support.
Joshua Hyslop was born in Saskatoon but now resides in Abbotsford, BC and is signed to Vancouver’s Nettwerk Records. He specializes in an atmospheric, soul-searching blend of chamber pop and indie folk. Citing influences like Iron & Wine, Mumford & Sons, Ryan Adams, Wilco and Bon Iver, he has released two EPs, Cold Wind (2011) and Living & Dying (2015) and two albums, Where The Mountain Meets The Valley (2011) and his latest, In Deepest Blue, all to great critical acclaim.
