Operating on the assumption that three Kims are better than one, we’ve got a lovely show – featuring Kim Wempe, Kim Barlow and Kim Beggs – at The Carleton on Monday, March 9th. Show time is 8 PM and admission is $12.50 advanced or $15 at the door.

Kim Wempe is a local road warrior (she’s just been to Australia again) and her latest album – Coalition – is a brilliant piece of work.

Kim Barlow is a music teacher and performer based in the Annapolis Valley – specializing in ukelele and clawhammer banjo – who doesn’t make it to Halifax to perform as much as she’d like.

Kim Beggs makes her home in the Yukon and her latest album – Beauty & Breaking – is the best of her career. “Kim Beggs’s voice lures you in with its emotive melancholy before you’ve had time to absorb the fact that she’s a formidable songwriter.”   NNNN – NOW Magazine
