If you dig your high-energy Blues/Rock, you’re gonna dig Toronto-based Jim Dan Dee. The band heads east for the first time for a show at The Carleton on Thursday, April 27th. Local guitar hero, and ECMA and Music Nova Scotia awards nominee Dan Doiron will kick off the night. Show time is 9 PM and admission is $7 at the door. The show is presented by Jim Beam so, you know, it’ll be bourbon-fueled!
Following on the heels of their well-received EP Five Stiff Shots, the band has just released it’s latest Jeff Martin (The Tea Party) produced single and video for The Silence. The band has a cracker-jack live show and are looking forward to introducing themselves to Halifax! Come on out, you won’t be disappointed – trust us…
Dan Doiron is a blazing spitfire guitarist with a six-string wall of sound who combines traditional and modern guitar influences with unique lyrics reflecting his views on everyday life that keep audiences engaged at every band and solo show.
