It’s Campbell’s birthday (let’s just say he’s old), as well as pretty close to the birthdays of a lot of other friends of The Carleton‘s too so we’re pulling off a killer night of music on Thursday, January 12th to mark the fact. As a very special treat, Toronto’s The Heartbroken (Stuart Cameron, Damhnait Doyle, Blake Manning and Peter Fusco) will headline the night. Also on the bill is Jont & The Infinite Possibility, doing one final Halifax show before heading off to Toronto for some showcase gigs, and the amazing duo of Tyler Messick & Virgil Muir. Show time is 8 PM and tickets are a measly $12.50 advanced or $15 at the door.
Some of my favourite musicians (and people) all in the same band! Their new album Storm Clouds is fantastic. It’s a rare treat to have them in this part of the country so don’t blow it, get yer tickets asap!
Jont & The Infinite Possibility have made great strides over the past year. With an imminent new album, the lads are hitting the highway heading west for a couple of showcasing gigs in Toronto. Let’s give ’em a nice send-off.

If ever two voices were made to sing together, it’s Tyler and Virgil. Haven’t heard anything quite like it since Simon & Garfunkel. No kidding. And with great songs, ahhhhhh.
