2016 marks the third year since the untimely passing of our musician friend Jay Smith. To honour his memory – and spirit – we’re arranging a celebration of his life and music to benefit the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia at The Carleton on Thursday, March 24th. Show time will be 8 PM and tickets are $30.

This year’s event will feature a Halifax All Star Band performing Jay’s entire album with able help from guest vocalists Adam Baldwin, Brian Byrne (I Mother Earth), Kim Harris & Melanie Stone, Carleton Stone & Dylan Guthro, John Mullane (In-Flight Safety), Mike Ryan (The Town Heroes), Ian MacDougall (Tom Fun Orchestra), Dennis Ellsworth, Laura Merrimen and more…
