Jason Spinney from popular country rock band Witchitaw brings his hugely entertaining solo show to The Carleton on Saturday, February 1st. Songs and stories commence at 8 PM and it’s a FREE show!

Jason Spinney is a member of the well known East Coast Country Band, Witchitaw.  Witchitaw has had a great deal of success, recording 5 albums in Nashville, a live record at the Cavendish Beach music Festival, radio airplay across North America, along with being nominated for 2 ECMAs and 4 Nova Scotia Music Awards throughout their career.

However, when Jason is not rockin’ with his band, he performs solo acoustic shows, in the classic singer / songwriter style.  His show features lots of Witchitaw written songs as well as popular music from the country, rock and blues genres.  Jason’s engaging storytelling ability and good humour play a key role in his solo show, making his overall presentation both intimate and dynamic for the listening audience.  A country boy at heart, with a genuine personality, Jason enjoys entertaining new concert goers at every show and catching up with all the folks that continue to support his music career.
