Veteran Toronto one-man hit machine Mark Gunn treks East to make his début appearance at The Carleton on Saturday, August 31st. Show time is 8:00 PM and admission is FREE. Mark’s repertoire is vast and he’ll even take requests – 100% worth checking out out if you’re downtown on the night!

MARK GUNN brings you the sound of a solid band for the price of a solo act. He plays both electric and acoustic guitar, always expanding his skills, able to do grinding solos or an hour of classical guitar.

After nation-wide success with the band GILT, Mark started  A is A, and secured a recording deal with Loggerhead Records and Universal Music. The single “Beautiful” landed on the Pop Charts, and the song  “Driving By Your House“ went into rotation on MuchMusic. As a very active studio musician, Mark honed his studio skills working with well known artists and producers; and getting stage experience playing at universities, festivals,  on TV and radio, and with one of Toronto’s top bands, Orangeman.

Mark has put together a crowd pleasing show featuring a list of hit songs from different eras. A professional attitude combined with sense of fun makes him entertaining for all ages. He plays at pubs, bars, restaurants, parties, weddings, divorces, schools, corporate events and amusement parks. Shows include high quality backing tracks that add to the energy.
