Popular downtown habitués Bologna Colorado and Shadow Folk team up for a night of cool, danceable tunes at The Carleton on Saturday, August 12th. Live music gets underway around 9:30 PM and, as usual on Saturdays, admission is FREE. They’re fun bands, you should drop in to see them!
Bologna Colorado is a four-piece rock band based in Halifax. Their distinct sound is built on a foundation of simple form, while ripping solos and impromptu mid-set mans keep their shows spontaneous and lively. Guitar, bass, a keyboard, a drum kit; no tricks, just straightforward rock’n’roll! The band consists of Cole Chalifoux (vocalis and lead guitarist), Adam Otmar (bass), Emily Denesyk (keyboards) and Mike Ball (drums). They released their 1st album in June of 2023.
Shadow Folk is a self-described neo-psych rock band from Nova Scotia.
