Uber-fans Matthew Hornell, Andrew Sneddon, Mark Bachinsky and Ian Bennett put on a tribute to the music of John Prine at The Carleton on Sunday, September 20th! Show time is 8 PM and tickets are $17.50. Last time we did this the room sold out (as it should!) so get yours soon!

There are a lot of iconic songwriters out there still walking the earth but, among young writers, there are few as revered as John Prine, and for good reason. His catalogue is second-to-none and lyrically, maybe only Bob Dylan is as good. John still tours occasionally but there’s every chance he’ll never be back in Halifax.

Take this opportunity to see some of our best pay their respects to the master. This will be a wonderful night for lovers of extraordinary music.
