For our money, Thomas Stajcer pulls together all the best strains of country music, so we’re happy to announce that he’ll bring his full band with him to celebrate the vinyl release of his latest, Midwestern States, at The Carleton on Thursday, December 9th. Show time is a civilized 7:30 PM and tickets are only $12 + HST.
***If you want to sit with others who have purchased their tickets separately, please email reservations@thecarleton.ca with the names***
Likened in tone to John Prine, Sturgill Simpson, Lee Hazelwood or Gram Parsons, Thomas Stajcer drew from a wide range of musical influences to produce Midwestern States to take you on a journey. One could listen to 4 songs from the album and comment, “That’s 4 different kinds of country music!” and it wouldn’t even take into account the Steve Earle-does-Nebraska epic that is the title track and closer of the record.
