Due to these unprecedented and uncertain times, Brent and Jessica have postponed their May 3 visit to The Carleton.
As soon as new dates are scheduled, we will contact all guests with the option to hold your tickets (guaranteed entry!) or receive a full refund.

The godfather of the Saint John music scene, Brent Mason, along with fellow New Brunswicker, the fabulous Jessica Rhaye. team up for a special matinée show at The Carleton on Sunday, May 3rd. Live music gets underway at 2 PM and tickets for this dynamic duo are only $15 advanced, or $20 at the door. It’s worth noting that, because it’s an afternoon show, all ages can attend if accompanied by a parent or guardian (as long as they eat – the NS government’s rule, not ours)!
Brent Mason is a songwriter and acoustic guitar player from Saint John who has been performing for over 25 years and has recorded 10 albums in the process. He’s hosted a legendary open stage/talent incubator at Oleary’s all that time and has been nominated and/or won ECMA and Music NB awards, including MNB folk/roots recording of the year in 2012. He’s toured the UK 4 times, played across Canada, in parts of the US and China. His latest album is High Water Mark.
Just like a Woman – Songs of Bob Dylan is Jessica Rhaye’s sixth full-length album, and first with backing band The Ramshackle Parade. This rollicking folk-rock interpretation of Dylan’s classics and hidden gems transcends the concept of a simple tribute album. The result is a fun folk-rock album with psychedelic undertones, with folkie ballads, a conversation between rockabilly and swing, and engaging new interpretations of the Master’s works.
