The Halifax Urban Folk Festival‘s 10th anniversary is proud to present a rare acoustic night with Newfoundland’s The Novaks and local sister act Cameron at The Carleton on Thursday, August 29th. Live music starts at 8 PM and tickets are available HERE!

St. John’s rockers The Novaks blasted off in 2005 with the release of their first album, which included a mention for their song No One Quite Like You as “The Coolest Song in The World” on Little Steven’s (Van Zandt from Springsteen’s E Street Band) Underground Garage radio show. Since then they’ve released two more albums but have generally been on hiatus from touring. Until now. The band will perform a very special acoustic show, tailored specifically for The Carleton and locals Cameron will be handling opening duties on the night. Not to be missed!
