Moncton’s Midnight Ramblers head down to Halifax for an evening of vintage (1968-1972) Rolling Stones at The Carleton on Friday, June 28th. Show time is 10 PM and admission is a paltry $10 at the door. You see, you sometimes can always get what you want!
In the span of four short years – 1968 to 1972 – the Rolling Stones recorded what is arguably some of the most important music of their career. As the Beatles were preparing their eventual retreat from the spotlight, the Stones forged solidly forward, releasing groundbreaking albums Beggar’s Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers and Exile On Main Street. Moncton’s Midnight Ramblers – consisting of members of The Divorcees, The Monoxides, East Coast Love Story, and others – pay tribute to this iconic era of the Stones’ career with a rousing set of material that captures the spirit and rebellion that inspired the original music.
