Our First Performance - JOEL PLASKETT - May 25th & 26th 2008

Joel Plaskett, friend and electrifying leader of the mighty Joel Plaskett Emergency, performed two very special solo shows at the brand-spanking-new Carleton May 25 and 26. Joel was joined by his father Bill. In a strange twist of fate, although we were delighted to have Joel open the Carleton, he was not the first person to grace our stage. Anna Egge warmed up the stage and The Carleton. She has a beautiful voice and was the perfect appetizer for Joel. When Joel took the stage with his dad, we knew we were in for something special. Joel was also joined by Rose Cousins and Anna Egge during a riveting set that covered familiar favorites and lots of new material from his soon-to-be-released new album.
