Jill Barber at The Carleton June 18,19 2008

Description:

Wow. It seems that The Carleton was built for Jill Barber. Two evenings that defy superlatives. Jill was joined by guitarist Les Cooper who, fortunately, had a guitar that matched the walls. Jill favored the Carleton with something old, something new and something borrowed. She is currently in the process of recording with Les as her producer and they had the opportunity to showcase some of the new material -definitely something to look forward to.

Jill charmed and seduced the audience with an intimate evening of performace and mingling with the folks at The Carleton. Mike and I are having an little dispute over which evening was best. It's something we will be happy to discuss at length. We do do agree on one moment, Jill Barber singing the theme to "The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air."  It was a special couple of evenings and we would love to have Jill come back as often as she likes.
